In 2013, NAVSEA awarded multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) SeaPort Enhanced (“SeaPort-e”) contracts for a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services and solutions for Department of the Navy (DON) customers (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, SPAWAR, Strategic Systems Program (SSP), NAVFAC) as well as Commander, Naval Installations (CNI) and the US Marine Corps. The Navy Virtual SYSCOM’s focus is on implementing cost-effective and integrated business practices to better support our Navy.
SeaPort-e provides a contracting vehicle to support 22 functional areas and 7 geographic zones across the United States. Additionally, support may be provided under the contract to other Department of Defense (DOD), non-DOD, or joint agencies for related work.
ALEX – Alternative Experts, LLC is approved to provide support in all seven SeaPort Geographic Zones.

Throughout design and fabrication, we employ industry standard Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes, including 2D laser scanning and 3D CMM, to ensure products meet strict tolerance requirements.
Command Post Technologies, Inc.
Through its lead role during the Joint Fiber Laser Mission Engagement (J-FLaME) Joint Test, the Command Post Technologies (CPT) team has proven past performance in all phases of joint testing, from initial design, through planning and execution, to validation and transition. CPT provided critical planning, analysis and subject matter expertise as part of a combined contractor, government civilian and active duty military test team. During the test’s lifecycle, CPT personnel led facilitation of development venues, and production of planning reports, as well as the actual test article; consisting of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) for operational employment of developing laser weapon capabilities.

Implementing the established ALEX ISO 9001 quality system results in consistently high-quality products and services with clear and concise methods for problem resolution.
The major components of the ALEX Quality program are project planning, process development, assignment of qualified staff resources, record keeping/audit, and financial controls. Combined with the development of detailed work plans for specific tasks, these five elements are critical to the efficient management of products and services for our customers.
The ALEX Quality Assurance plan is an integral part of our excellent service.
