Space Planning & Design
We provide professional level, technically skilled staff to complete space planning and interior design services. Our expertise includes the development of interior design packages and Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) applications and our designs incorporate workstation groupings to accommodate space based upon mission function and agency requirements.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Our staff develops and provides 2D & 3D view of facilities in an easy-to-use format for facility managers that links BIM with real-time facility operations data acquired via meters & sensors (Building Automation Systems, BAS) and facility management (FM) software. This allows for the intelligent analysis of a building’s performance, and enforces better maintenance practices resulting in significant labor reduction and savings.   
Relocation Planning & Management
Whether expanding work force needs, modernizing an office, or new construction, our team can ensure your relocation runs smoothly. We provide requirements definitions, project planning and scheduling, and coordination with vendors and contractors. We also offer support for meetings, presentations, budgeting and estimating, and space planning tools and procedures.
Facilities Operations & Support
ALEX has a long history of properly handling secured documents in an on-going process derived by measuring, reporting, analyzing, auditing, and addressing issues. We develop and manage the Archibus computer aided facility management system for all facility related management operations ensuring that requirements for safeguarding classified information and classified materials, personnel and areas, data and other systems are fulfilled.
Facilities Records Management
Our facilities records management services include updating and maintaining all building drawings, utilizing AutoCAD and providing graphics support, as well as administrative and clerical support services. We also create, implement, and monitor procedures for managing the electronic drawing database and maintaining the integrity of the Master Records.
